Fortunately you can scrub through the commercials on your Tivo! They kept increasing the commercial content as they went through the season (because they know they have you hooked). I had to do this in order to transfer S02E14 of 'Prisoners of War'. Thus I've included a huge bump for hulu videos. I have seen hulu shows that reported a video length that was 10 minutes short of actual - because they added 10 mins of commercials (which they don't include in the video length they report). Thus my version of the plugin has some extra bumps added for very short videos (1 to 2 mins) and for even longer videos that come from Hulu. The plugin has always had a few percent bump of file size (calculated from video length) but my experience has shown some cases where this is not sufficient. Unfortunately some files from playon have ridiculously large play lengths assigned to them so some ridicuulously large file size estimates are unavoidable. Tivo is tolerant of estimated file sizes greater (even much greater) than actual file size, so the strategy is to bump estimated file size enough to prevent the problem but not so much as to create ridiculous time lines during playback.
